"Keeps going down and the apologies feel canned"
This keeps going down on me and it’s really frustrating. I wouldn’t call it reliable at all. What makes it worse is when support just sends those canned apology messages instead of actually explaining what’s going on or fixing the problem.

"Contract terms were alright"
CSGI was just fine overall, but getting the contract changes sorted took more back and forth than I thought it would. Some parts were flexible, while others felt set in stone. It wasn’t bad, just not the easiest process either.

"Support didn’t seem to know what they were doing"
Uh, tech support wasn’t very helpful. I had to explain the same issue twice, and even after that I just got basic copy-and-paste responses. It felt like they didn’t really understand the problem at all

"Felt a bit like just another ticket"
My account manager was okay overall. They did help out sometimes, but there were moments where follow-ups got slow and the answers weren’t always clear. I didn’t feel like there was much personal attention, more like I was just another ticket number waiting in the queue.

"Security info is decent, just a little hard to pin down"
csgi seems solid when it comes to security and compliance, at least from what I could tell. I did have to dig around more than I expected, though, and a few pages felt kind of vague when I was just trying to confirm specific details. It’s not a bad experience overall, I just kept thinking it would be nice if the info was a bit easier to find, because you start on one page, then click another, and suddenly you’re wondering if you actually found what you needed or just something close enough.

"Not sure it was worth the price for me"
I tried csgi.com thinking I’d get a bit more for the price, but I’m not sure if my expectations were too high or if it just wasn’t a great fit for me. Everything worked fine enough, so it’s not like I had a terrible experience, but nothing really made me feel like, “Okay, this is worth what I paid.”

Support was decent, though a little slow here and there. Maybe I’m being picky, but for the money, I expected the whole thing to feel smoother and more useful. I can see how it might work better for someone else, but personally, I don’t think I’d pay for it again.

"I’ve been a fan of this brand for..."
I’ve been a fan of this brand for a while, so I really wanted this to be an easy experience. But the pricing wasn’t clear enough upfront. I had to ask way too many questions just to figure out what everything would actually cost, which was frustrating. I still like the company, but this made me second-guess things a bit.

"We used csgi.com for a while..."
We used csgi.com for a while, and in the beginning, it seemed fine. Nothing flashy, but it did the job. Then our customer volume started climbing, and that’s when the cracks really started to show.
Pages got noticeably slower, reports felt like they were dragging behind, and workflows that used to run smoothly suddenly turned into little emergencies we had to babysit. Support was polite, to be fair, but it felt like they were putting bandages on something that needed a much bigger fix.

If you’re running a smaller setup, it might be perfectly manageable. But once things started scaling for us, it became stressful and clunky quickly. We eventually decided we needed something more stable before it turned into a bigger headache.

"The uptime has just been rough lately"
It’s just been going down at the worst times lately, and it’s getting frustrating

"Revenue management just didn’t really work for us"
We tried using it for revenue management, but it just didn’t fit what we needed. The reports were always kind of behind, so we weren’t working with the most useful numbers. Billing fixes helped a bit, but they still missed too much stuff, and we ended up having to clean up a lot ourselves.

"My bill was wrong twice, actually, the second time..."
My bill was wrong twice, actually, the second time was the same kind of mistake, which made it even more frustrating. I had to reach out again to get it fixed

"Works well enough, but can be a bit bumpy"
The API does what I need most of the time, and the docs are decent. That said, I still get tripped up by the error messages now and then. Maybe I’m reading too much into the tone, but some of them feel like they’re hinting at the problem without actually telling me what to fix

"Not gonna lie, there isn’t much you can change"
Not gonna lie, I was hoping for more customization options. It works, but there just isn’t a whole lot you can really tweak or personalize...

"Support was fine, just a little slow"
Support did get back to me, so I don’t want to make it sound worse than it was. It just took a couple of days, and I had to explain the issue twice, which was a bit frustrating. Maybe I wasn’t clear enough the first time, I’m not sure. They did fix it in the end, so overall it was okay, just not especially quick.

"Subscription was way harder than it needed to be"
I was just trying to change my plan, but the subscription settings kept sending me around in circles. It wasn’t not frustrating, especially for something that should be simple. Support did get back to me, but it took a while and didn’t really sort things out. it felt like way more hassle than it should’ve been.

"Docs didn’t really live up to the promise"
I expected the docs on CSG to be a lot more helpful than they were. They make it seem like you’ll be able to find answers and fix things quickly, but in reality I spent way too much time guessing my way through missing steps and pages that felt outdated. The search wasn’t much help either. It’s not completely useless, but it definitely didn’t match what I expected, and when you’re just trying to solve an issue fast, that gets frustrating.

"Pretty confusing to get around"
I found the site really confusing to use. Everything felt kind of cluttered, and I had to click around way longer than I expected just to find what I was looking for. The menus and labels weren’t very clear either. it almost feels like it was designed by someone who already knew exactly where everything was and didn’t really think about new users, though I could be wrong

"Payments work, but could be smoother"
i mean, CSGI payment processing gets the job done for the most part. Most of my payments go through without any real issues, but there have been a few times where it felt a little slow or didn’t update right away. I’ve had moments where I wasn’t totally sure if a payment actually went through, which can be annoying. Support was okay, just not the quickest. Overall, it’s not bad, but I do wish it was a bit more consistent.

"I tried using CSG thinking it would..."
I tried using CSG thinking it would handle the usual things I needed, but uh, it felt like a lot of basic features were either missing or only halfway there.

Some simple stuff I expected to be easy was either hard to find or just not available, which made using it more frustrating than it should have been. I kept hitting weird limits that didn’t really make sense to me.

For the price and what it seems to promise, it feels unfinished. Maybe it works better for other people, but for me it just wasn’t complete enough to rely on.

"Setting up integrations was more confusing than I expected"
I tried getting our tools connected, but the whole setup process ended up being messy. I lost track of what was supposed to happen first or how long each step was meant to take. Support did respond, but they didn’t really clear things up much, so I was still left guessing half the time.
